Amanda Pearce Real Estate Buzz is run by experienced Brisbane north side real estate agent Amanda Pearce. It is a platform for Amanda to share some of her knowledge about real estate opportunities in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, as well as any of her current listings.

When I first started working with Amanda, she had only just launched her Facebook page and required some assistance with her branding and logo. We discussed her target audience as well as existing brands within the current market and how she wanted to be positioned among those existing brands. We also discussed what makes her different to those brands as well as common elements / colours often used in real estate branding.

Once I had a good idea of what Real Estate Buzz what about and how they fit into the market, I was able to make some recommendations for the colour pallet. We went with four colours with a blue/green undertone, with two core colours and two complimentary/accent colours.

Once we had decided on the colours, the next step was to start discussing the different logo elements – the words and icon. We wanted an icon that can be used as a stand-alone image for things like display/profile images, favicon etc.

In regards to the words, we wanted the “Amanda Pearce” to be the main focal point – this is because Amanda is the brand; it also means that if she decides to break out into other areas like property management, we can make a new logo with a similar layout that is easily recognisable as part of the Amanda Pearce brand.

The End Result

Now that I had a good idea of what the brief for the branding was, I worked with local Brisbane-based graphic designer Irena Clare to get the logo designed. Both Amanda and I are very happy with the end result – the weighting and spacing of the wording is exactly what we’d hoped for and the way that the ‘A’ from ‘Amanda’ is used as the roof of the house in the icon is great as well.

This was such a fantastic project to work on – I love the level of excitement and energy that comes from working with a new brand or project! The next step for Amanda Pearce Real Estate Buzz is to start building a website – a project that we have already started working on, so keep an eye on this space for updates!
