Brisbane content marketing studio seeks budding young wordsmith!
We are excited to announce that we are ready to take the next step in our journey by expanding the BeKonstructive Marketing team!
We have a casual intern position available for a current student studying marketing, advertising, communication, journalism or a related field. This intern position is paid. Yes, you read that right. Paid. Pee-aye-eye-dee. Paid.
The position will start as 1-2 days a week with the intention to increase this as we continue to grow. If all goes well, you’ll eventually join our team full time (once you’ve graduated).
You’ll spend your days in our tropical-themed Fortitude Valley content marketing studio writing blog, website and social media content for our clients. Any previous experience in writing content for any of these platforms along with social media scheduling, SEO, WordPress or email marketing will be advantageous but not a deal-breaker.
The number one skill you need for this position is the ability to communicate clearly, cleverly and creatively. We are looking for a writer who has some marketing knowledge, not a marketer who can write 🙂
Our Ideal Applicant:
Our ideal applicant loves writing. They have a personal blog, writes articles or creates content in some capacity outside of just their obligatory uni assignments. They have a strong presence on social media and an eye for detail.
They are equal parts creative and analytical, and they have a strong sense of curiosity or eagerness to learn. They take critical feedback well, and use it to improve their work quality.
They are currently studying and have 12-18 months left of their degree. They are bright, bubbly and outgoing – their personality fits well with the BeKonstructive brand.
How to Apply:
If you have any questions about the position or would like to submit your application, please send your resume and a sample of your writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 17th August.
Please note – we will only be considering applications from people who are studying marketing, journalism, communications or a related field. While we appreciate that scientists, Doctors and accountants enjoy writing as well, this position is intended as an opportunity for someone seeking a long-term career in the marketing industry.
We will only be considering applications that are accompanied by a writing sample – a personal blog or published article is our preference but we will also accept university assignments.
