BeKonstructive and our friends, families, and fellow business colleagues recently had the pleasure of spending our Saturday morning at the Osborne Hotel – sipping champagne (10am drinking is allowed, right?), enjoying some live music, and filling a table with bags that promise women in need a better Christmas. We were celebrating the launch of Share the Dignity’s It’s in the Bag campaign, and we were so humbled by the generous donations provided by everyone who attended.

It’s in the Bag is a movement which sees bags filled with women’s health and sanitary products distributed to people who are doing it tough over the holiday season. These bags will ease the stress for women who desperately need a helping hand to lift them up, while providing them with the reassurance that they are special, beautiful, and loved human beings.

We felt so honoured to be able to contribute to this amazing cause through our event. It was powerful to see all the bags lined up knowing each one will go to someone who will benefit significantly from its contents.

Sharing stories from women who have received a bag in the past brought home the importance of this cause and how a small act of compassion can bring about so much life-affirming joy. It was great having so many people there listening to these stories and taking home with them the meaning of It’s in the Bag.

Our work with Share the Dignity came via our BeKause Marketing initiative. This recent addition to our services pairs our team of dedicated interns with great not for profits to work on their content marketing material. This allows our interns to gain valuable experience in a fair and legal manner by helping NFPs with their copywriting, social media content, blogging and more. If you are an NFP looking to engage with our services, then consider applying as we’d love to have a chat about how BeKause Marketing can help out!
